Have you ever battled with things in your life for over decades and when you finally think you have conquered it ….that same addiction, past failure, obsession, spiritual oppression starts meandering it’s way into your life. It’s lurking…wanting to take you aback. Like a subtle snake it’s slithers into your life.
Ephesians 6:10-12 says” be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might”. Put the full armor of the Lord that you may be able to stand against all the wiles of the devil.vs 12 says” for we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers , rulers of darkness and spiritual wickedness in high places.” So to begin with, life is a spiritual warfare. Everything we see is a result of what is actually happening in the spirit realm. See the enemy knows how much of a powerhouse you are…otherwise he wouldn’t even dare to tempt you. You constantly contemplate on how your life keeps moving in repeated cycles.
when I was in Form 4 ( 11th grade) , I had a fare share of dreadful spiritual att. acks. Well, I want you to be aware of the fact that I had just grown in my spiritual journey with God and I had just been baptized with the power of the Holy Spirit. It was a time where my spiritual eyes started being opened to things that were happening in my surroundings and all the generational and bloodline problems that have constantly weighed me down over the years. So I started pinpointing patterns that kept coming at the verge of my breakthroughs. I could feel it in my spirit. I then felt a dire need to ask the Lord about it and show me what this really is. ( Jeremiah 33:3) Says that ” call me, I will answer you, show you great and mighty things and things you do not know”. I did just that…and to my surprise….it was a group of women whom had shrines . So in my dream, as I was climbing a ladder….just when I was a step toward reaching the top, the women ( others on my left and others on my right) pulled me down…up until I woke up. This was actually evident in everything I did, including my academics. It was just a vicious cycle.
I also want to share how I used to battle with being on time. Just so you know, I’m the earliest bird in my entire household…but to my family’s amusement always the one slacking behind!!!!. I always made excuses for that.. yelling them”it’s just that I’m slow by nature”☹️🤔. It continued up until high school, and it was getting out of hand since I missed quite a lot of impactful meetings, gatherings and opportunities. So on a certain day something great( like a destiny altering encounter) at school…my friend approaches me and says” oh , you were late. I just noticed you’re always absent when great things happen.” I was hurt , honestly because I too started noticing, however couldn’t find out what the problem really was. I continuously asked God to help me out of it day in day out. So this other particular day( I was obviously late) on my way to school. I was 30 minutes late!!!! the bell had rung a long time ago . The Holy Spirit whispered into my ear and said” let me tell you something., 90% of the battles you’re fighting are from your Father’s house!!!!. Take a glance at what has been happening to your dad. Everytime he gets promised a job, an interview or business opportunity, he’s always drunk the day before and obviously he’s too late on the day of the interview or bruised from falling of his drunkenness. So it never happens anytime, always when he’s going to break out.
There’s just a lot of wickedness that has happened in my father’s house that everytime I thought I was through with this battle , other things popped up. I wil give you details on my other topics and books. But I just want you to know that God is on your side and no wickedness, no principality no ruler of darkness on earth above or below or in the heavenlies will steal what God has authorized you to take. I would like us to do a serious prayer on the following prayer points, that have been inspired by the Holy Spirit on this specific spiritual warfare:
